Project — Brass Chandelier for Sheikh Zayed Mosque, Solo – Indonesia

Hans Copper Lighting produced a bespoke brass chandelier for the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Solo, a landmark that represents both cultural diplomacy and contemporary Islamic architecture in Indonesia. Installed beneath the main dome, the chandelier serves as a ceremonial centerpiece that enhances the spiritual atmosphere of the prayer hall.

The multi-tiered design combines perforated brass ornaments, crystal fringe accents, and circular lighting geometry to distribute warm and balanced illumination throughout the interior. The fixture harmonizes with the mosque’s calligraphic bands, geometric windows, and carved wall textures, creating visual continuity across the worship space.

Fabricated from brass material with polished finishing, the chandelier is engineered to sustain long-term performance in high-capacity prayer environments. Beyond functional illumination, it reinforces the mosque’s identity through refined craftsmanship and symbolic Islamic aesthetics, enriching the experience of worship and community gatherings.
