Project — Nabawi Chandelier & Wall Lighting for Abdurrahman bin Auf Mosque, Karanganyar – Central Ja

Hans Copper Lighting produced a bespoke Nabawi chandelier along with a series of coordinated wall lamps for Abdurrahman bin Auf Mosque in Karanganyar, Central Java. The lighting installation was designed to complement the mosque’s grand architectural proportions while enhancing the spiritual atmosphere within the main prayer hall.

The circular chandelier features layered brass ornamentation, cylindrical glass luminaires, and balanced radial geometry that distributes soft yet ample illumination across the worship space. Complementing the central fixture, the Nabawi-style wall lamps reinforce visual continuity along the columns and arches, creating a cohesive lighting language throughout the interior.

Handcrafted from brass material with polished finishing and reinforced structural engineering, the fixtures are built for long-term performance in high-capacity religious environments. Beyond functional lighting, the installation embodies Islamic artistry, architectural symmetry, and a dignified ambiance that supports both daily prayers and ceremonial gatherings.
