Project — Statement Pendant Lighting for Lobby, Adiwana Alas Harum Hotel, Ubud – Bali, Indonesia

Hans Copper Lighting designed and produced a series of custom pendant fixtures for the lobby area of Adiwana Alas Harum Hotel in Ubud, Bali. Positioned beneath a glass skylight structure, the installation creates a striking visual centerpiece that enhances the guest arrival experience.

The circular pendant forms feature intricate perforated patterns inspired by traditional motifs, allowing natural daylight and artificial light to interact through the material. This creates layered shadows and dynamic visual textures that shift throughout the day, enriching the spatial atmosphere of the lobby.

Suspended in a balanced composition, the fixtures complement the architectural rhythm of the roof structure while reinforcing the resort’s tropical and cultural identity. Handcrafted using brass with refined finishing, each piece reflects precision craftsmanship and durability suitable for hospitality environments.

Beyond illumination, this installation functions as a signature design element — delivering a memorable first impression while embodying the essence of artisanal luxury and Ubud’s serene hospitality character.
